Meditation

Of all the things I do for health, this takes the supreme cake. What is happening to me is that I attend retreats twice a year — and then I meditate every morning, for a minimum of an hour. Regularly practicing to feel the energies of the Divine leads me to feel this when I work, and truly nothing can give greater joy than to feel God working through you, or to feel one’s angels around. Because what happens through meditation is a concomitant awareness of the beauty in other people as well.

Filipino couple nabbed for chopping up Pinay maid

SAUDI ARABIA – Authorities apprehended a Filipino couple for the killing of their Pinay household service worker two years ago in Saudi Arabia, an online news provider reported.
According to the internet edition of the Saudi Gazette, the couple, whose identities were not disclosed, admitted to killing the victim. They then chopped her body and buried the pieces under the concrete floor of their house.
The wife, the report said, reported the crime to the police after a family squabble.
They claimed that their maid was maltreating their children.
The couple allegedly used a baseball bat to hit the victim until she fell unconscious and died. They then moved her to the comfort room and doused her with water hoping that she would regain consciousness.
The two had planned to dispose of the maid’s body in the desert part of Eastern Saudi Arabia. However, they changed their plan and decided to chop the body and bury its parts under a room in their house.
